About Our Genetic Test

The following sections describe how the Healthy Me AI genetic test works, what your results mean, and the limitations you should be aware of.

How It Works

Your DNA is analyzed using a genotyping microarray, which examines hundreds of thousands of genetic variants across your genome. This approach identifies single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) associated with disease risk across 13 validated disease areas.

Sample Collection

Testing uses a simple cheek swab DNA collection kit, delivered to your home with return packaging included. No blood draw required. Results are delivered as a comprehensive PDF report via email.

What Are Polygenic Risk Scores?

Polygenic Risk Scores (PRS) estimate your genetic predisposition to a disease by analyzing many genetic variants across your genome. Rather than looking for a single mutation, PRS evaluates thousands to millions of small genetic contributions that together influence disease risk.
